However, fasting for short periods to reset yourself in cleansing regimes is fine as long as it’s for short term only. Just don’t count on that weight loss to be permanent.
Too much exercise:The other no-no is the exercise till you cry routine. Don’t get me wrong, exercise helps tone and shape your muscles beneath the fat. You might be the next supermodel underneath it all, but no one will know unless you shed the energy blocking fat first. There also comes a point in time when your body gets used to a certain speed or routine and it gets turned onto auto pilot. Then fat loss becomes ineffective and the energy you could have used for cleaning up the house or accomplishing goals ends up getting drained away and instead you may end up passing out or sleeping all day.
Exercise is meant to increase circulation so your body and mind can perform at its optimal speed. If you’re not getting that feeling, you are either doing it too little or too much. When you overdo it you can easily become snappy and irritable, after all it is work, and over working at anything can turn easily into stress. And stress creates cortisol, a hormone which actually stores fat. So know when you’ve created enough energy to keep you energetically fed through out the day.
The Correct way to Lose Weight
Say yes to more right foods: With just 20 minutes of light exercise a day, you can easily drop 5-10lbs in two weeks if you can focus on cutting out all the sugar and refined carbohydrates (i.e. bread, pastas, white rice). Next time check the labels for sugar, it’s everywhere. It also explains why America has the most obese children and adults. No other country puts sugar in nearly every food they sell. If you go to Wal-Mart and check out the snack isle you’ll know what I mean. They sell bulk candy and snacks as if they were preparing for an earthquake. Insane, isn’t it?
The right foods are foods that are live and organic. Live food has more active enzymes and causes your body to use more calories to digest them. In Chinese medicine the taste of bitterness controls weight gain which is found in leafy greens. And if you can wait after the two weeks of no sugar, you can add fresh fruits and you’ll burn even more calories.
Add Good Energy & Remove Bad Energy: Good energy can be created through contact with other positive people, the ones who can inspire you and get that flame sparked again. It can also be created through alternative health practices like acupuncture and massage to get your chi flowing. You can easily lose another 5lbs without doing anything different simply by getting a couple metabolism boosting acupuncture treatments.
Let’s not forget exercise. My favorite exercise program is good old, Tae Bo for cardio. With weights you have to be careful you know what you are doing since it could force you to put pressure on your internal organs, and misalign joints. However, if you do it correctly weights are great for added fat burn, muscle growth and bone density. Just remember if you want to shrink your belly don’t add weights to your abs routines too early, that will make it grow bigger. You can, however, add heat. They say you can spot reduce but that, my friend, is also untrue programming. If you send energy and attention to your abs you will definitely achieve the shape you visualized. It might take time, but it will happen and once it happens, your body has muscle memory so you can always go back to what you shaped.
Bad energy can be removed through energy work by an energy healer using reiki, prana, or crystals. Bad energy can also be lessened if you lessen your encounters with negative and draining people. Also, thoughts are energy. If you remove negative thoughts you essentially remove negative energy. So if you think and speak positively about yourself and those around you, positive energy gets sent out into the world.

When you’re at the movies they flash a soda or some candy at you and all of a sudden you get a case of the munchies. Fast food places sell you convenience through a window with the big posters of sugary shakes and fried foods with a little bit of green for color. Honestly, does the food ever really taste as good as it looks? Of course not but you come back for more don’t you? A little bit of temptation every day ends up rearing it’s ugly truth at the end of the year doesn’t it?
